Scientific Background: Annexin A2 is a calcium-regulated membrane-binding protein that binds two calcium ions with high affinity, which is greatly enhanced by anionic phospholipids. It may be involved in heat-stress response and inhibits PCSK9-enhanced LDL receptor degradation.
