Antibody Cross Reactivity: No significant cross-reactivities in HepG2, Jurkat and T98G cells and in sea star oocytes, except for a ~65 kDa protein in HepG2 and T98G cells, and a strong 50 kDa protein in sea star oocytes.

Scientific Background: Ksr1 (kinase suppressor of Ras 1) is a protein-serine/threonine kinase of the TKL group and RAF family. It is a Raf-related pseudokinase and may directly mediate Raf activation. It acts as a scaffold for the Raf/MEK/ERK kinase cascade. No specific mutations have been directly implicated in oncogenesis although loss of Ksr1 function will blunt the Ras pathway and therefore attenuate its oncogenic potential.
